A reservation forms a legal contract between Brighton Pavilions and the Guest for provision of and payment for accommodation as detailed. Reservations are made and accepted on the following terms:
Accommodation offered Brighton Pavilions undertakes to supply the accommodation reserved on a bed and breakfast basis for the price given. Alterations, other than a free upgrade, will not be made without the approval of the person booking. Brighton Pavilions accepts no responsibility for guests booking un-suitable accommodation unless suitability was first checked by phone. Brighton Pavilions reserves the right to refuse or cancel a reservation considered inappropriate.
Cancellation Charges The non-refundable reservation deposit paid will be forfeit in whole or in part should that reservation be cancelled or amended up to 72 hours before 14.00 on the day of arrival.
When a cancellation is made later than 72 hours before 14.00 on the day of arrival or by way of a ‘no-show’, the Guest will be required to pay a cancellation charge of the first night at the room rate quoted for a one night booking, or all nights at the room rate quoted falling within 72 hours of the cancellation for multiple night bookings, or all nights at the room rate quoted for minimum weekend, special offer or conference bookings, - less any deposit paid for that room. Where a reservation is made using a debit or credit card deposit, that card will be debited with the cancellation charge unless other payment methods are offered and approved.
Where a room has been paid for in advance, payment will not be refunded upon cancellation.
When a reservation is for a two or three night minimum, cancellation of only one or two of those nights will not be allowed and cancellations before or after arrival will be subject to payment in full.
Where a guest wishes to postpone a booking this will be allowed up to 1 week before 14.00 on the day of arrival where the revised date is no more than 12 weeks in advance. An administration charge of £25 per person will be made for any postponement and the room rate charged will be at the rate applicable on the revised date.
Check-in and Check-out times Check-in is by appointment between 14.00 until 20.00 Saturday to Thursday, and 21.00 on Friday, with variation by prior arrangement only. Guests are asked for a time of arrival at the time of booking and failure to arrive within one hour of this time or after 20.00 (or 21.00 on Fridays) without prior notification may result in them being unable to check-in. Failure to check-in for this reason will be treated as a cancellation and attract the cancellation charge.
Latest Check-out time is 11.00. An extension of 4 hours charged at £30 per room may be made subject to availability. Check-out before or during breakfast may not be possible due to availability of staff, so please arrange to settle your account the night before if you wish to make an early departure.
Breakfast Times Breakfast is served between the following times.
Monday to Friday from 08.15 to 09.00,
Saturday from 09.00 to 10.00
Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays from 09.30 to 10.30
Breakfast outside of these hours is available as a selection of cereals, milk, yoghurt, juice and croissant on a tray delivered to the room on the evening before.
Payment of Booking Payment of a Booking secured by credit or debit card deposit will normally be required on departure. Bookings made on the same day as arrival are payable in full in advance.
Payment of Conference Bookings will be required 2 weeks in advance of arrival.
Payment of bookings of three rooms or more will be required 2 week in advance of arrival.
We regret that cheques are no longer accepted for deposit or final payments.
Keys Guests will be issued with front door and room keys on check-in. One set of keys will be issued per room. If keys are lost or not returned on departure, a replacement fee of £15 per set will be charged to the room account. In the case of credit or debit card bookings, the card of the person or agent responsible for the booking will be debited with the replacement fee unless other payment methods are offered and approved.
No Smoking It is illegal to smoke inside Brighton Pavilions. Guests who smoke in their room will be asked to leave, will be liable for full payment of their booking and charged a £50 fee for extra cleaning. Guests may be charged for loss of income caused by the need to extensively ventilate the room before re-letting. We reserve the right to add these costs to a guest’s account after departure. In the case of credit or debit card bookings, the card of the person or agent responsible for the booking will be debited with the costs unless other payment methods are offered and approved.
Damages & Breakages Guests are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which they cause and they should report any incidents as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may charge for repair and making good if the damage or breakage is significant. he person or agent responsible for the booking will be debited with the costs unless other payment methods are offered and approved.
Non Registered Guest Visitors
· No more than 2 non-guest visitors in a double room or 1 non-guest visitor in a single room at any one time.
· No one other than registered guests to be in a room after 23.00 or overnight.
These terms are not negotiable and Guests are advised to take out appropriate travel insurance
where a late cancellation may lead to payment in full for two or more nights minimum reservations.
